About Us

John Stephens

John has 37 years experience in the building industry. Coming from at first a carpentry background, then growing into roles such as builder, project manager, construction manager, supervision and consulting, he is experienced in all facets of domestic construction and has completed all types of projects, from beautiful multi storey residential houses, to family and investment homes of all descriptions, all having the same attention to detail and level of finish. John has been an award winner, with his previous company that he was building manager for winning the 2006 HIA award for best spec home up to $250,000.00 as judged by the Housing Industry Association.

Steve Bajada

Steve’s experience in the building industry spans 32 years. First starting his own plastering company, then moving into development and commercial construction. He is a highly respected member within the Boral group of companies, and has a great repore with all people involved in the  industry. When the opportunity rose to form Sunreef homes with John, Steve was happy to bring on board his experience and input to the company, and help develop Sunreef Homes into becoming a major builder within the residential and commercial community.
